Sorry for the thread revival.

I've had this same issue recently with my E46 2005 300D Manual.

The centre bearing and front bush have both been replaced. The propshaft has been phased and balanced by a company in Pretoria called Isazi Propshafts - but I'm still suffering some annoying vibration/humming after 120km/h.

I'm considering having another shop remove & rebalance my propshaft to try sort the vibration out before looking at replacing the prop.

Any recommended propshaft shops out there?

Well I'd advise getting a second hand one. But they're also not that cheap and 6 speed manual is incredibly hard to find. I bought mine from bruce in maitland for R2500. Pitty you don't have an auto as I have a spare auto prop.

Otherwise get a price to fix yours and if it doesn't work it doesn't work. If it does. Then great. Try search the forum I recall some one had some work on their prop and it worked fine after

Hi. Had propshaft issues as well on my M3. At first BMW told me its just the centre bearing and after a week of waiting for the part from Germany they discovered the U-Joint was destroyed. Managed to buy a OEM second hand one that costed me R4500 and had it balanced and fitted. 3 months now and seems to be perfect.
