330d loan car

It all started when I drove a 120d (130kW). I started looking for a car after that. I eventually drove a 320d and realised the 3 series is so much nicer than the 1. After driving the 320d I finally bought, I drove a friend's mother's 330d (2006 model). While driving it, I was fortunate to be taken on by a Subaru WRX STi. It was close, but the 330d won. :)

Anyway, as time has passed I have now bought my second 320d - an E90 LCI 130kW. It is fantastic! There are one or two creases which need ironing out. One of those is a PDC sensor which is in the bumper (very annoying). The place where I bought my car is going to fix it and for the day they have loaned me a 330d E90 LCI. :praise: That car pulls a lot harder than the 2006 model I drove!

To all you owners of 330d's - I am very envious (much more envious than I used to be).

thanks for the nice words.

best car i have driven, but it does have a down side :thumbdo:

it has caused fights in what use to be a calm ,peaceful house hold.:roflol:

the wife loves to drive it,and even resorts to hi-jacking,my son, only 12,5 years old has already told me it is his when he gets his drivers licence and hates it when i drive it slowly:roflol:

other than that,great car:thumbs:

lol! I know how you feel! I have a 7 MO daughter, so my wife gets to drive the 320d whenever she goes anywhere in the day. Guess what I'm left with to drive for the day?

Love my 330d. I enjoy jumping into it everyday.
But i miss the long rev count.

I will still get a 335i one day if i can find a job thats closer to home.

The D's have its pros and cons as well as the 335.

Been contemplating selling my 330d...

But just cannot find a suitable replacement.

E90 M3 is at the top of my wishlist, I know it will satisfy me.. I got so use to spending under 2k month on Fuel and having all that tar shredding power under my foot. With the M3, power it shall have, but a hole in my pocket on fuel bills.

Don't do it Arbee, not saying you will regret it, but I don't see the fuel price coming down anytime soon...

Beside, you build and customized your car from ground up:inlove:

Thanks China!! Yeah, besides the effort put into the 330d, i still think it has a lot more potential currently. Going to try and extract some more out of it. To a limit obviously.

However, I drove an E92 M3 DCT a couple months ago. Man was i blown away with the sound. I miss that. If i do buy an M3, it will be for its sound and epic handling abilities... Not for power. It is a drivers car.

I've been driving a 120d daily for about a year. To me it feels like the best all round car with regards to power and full consumption.

I've however been searching for a month for a sports pack 330d at retail price with average mileage and its becoming nearly impossible with the car either being sold or dealers not knowing the difference between exclusive
