330d for sale question.

Hi guys, i just want a quick answer which is why i didnt post the question in my topic in the sales section. But i am really interested in the 330d.

But they posted a picture of the engine bay and it looks like the cover is missing?

And it looks as if the air filter goes off to the right and not the left side like normal?

I will phone them on monday but that doesnt look right does it ?

The bonet liner is also missing :idea:and the picture looks like its in a pannel shop ,maybe its been smashed what price is it?

That doesnt look like the 330d engine looks more like a 320d

Funny thing is its apparently hyundai in bellville, also the guy who called me called from a private number I contacted him through the ad on carfinder I think it was.

Shit it even says its a 330d on the back.

I was also thinking he might have taken the engine cover off for cleaning. But then I was like ahhhh thats not where the airfilter should be on a diesel O_O. The ad says a 2.0litre engine, but its advertised as 330d and the rear says its a 330d and it has the twin downward tailpipes of a 330d, so so so so strange. Alot of work to go through if its to scam some one maybe they just got the pictures mixed up and had another white bmw.

Going to call them on monday and see what they have to say. Hopefully they're open.

Guys, look closely at the pics in the full add...

If you compare the pic of the car with the bonnet closed, to the one with the bonnet open, you will see that in the pic where the bonnet is closed, there are headlight washer units on the bumper.
The pic with the bonnet open there are no headlight washer units!!

Also the angle the car is parked compared to the big door in the back, is different, where the one of the car in all the pics the car is not lining up with the door, but the pic where the bonnet is open, the car is parked straight and inline with the garage door in the back. so that tells me its 2 different cars, both white, both E90, but not the same car... :nono:

Another thing... look at the inside of the bonnet... you will see there are lines on the inside that indicated its a new bonnet, you know, the bonnet with the extra lines on, like on the facelift models, but the pic where the bonnet is closed, you can see its a pre-facelift model...

Also the kidney grills are not the same!! On the pre-facelift, it looks like the ones as in the pic where the bonnet is closed, but where the bonnet is open the grills are different, as in the facelift models...

Maybe they just got the pics mixed up, and the salesman is confused. Maybe an honest mistake, and nothing fishy.

Go to the dealer and see for yourself before jumping to conclusions

I never jumped to conclusions, I'm sure its a honest mistake as it would be firmly against the CPA. And they are a dealership.

What do you guys think of the price though, is that a good deal?

I was just joking, I just know joburg guys like their guns, but i guess in this day and age its needed.
