Car was polished and prepped and ready for the event .
Mods include 335 cooler, full 76 mm exhaust, bmc flat pad filter, stage 2 software and progressive devil's own watermeth kit ..last dyno at KAR I made 218 wkw and 645 nm but had a file updated since then .
Those results on only these mods?? :skit:

raise:@newby46. I thought I was going to have the Race Day diesel class all to myself until I found out about your car and it's achievements and that I will be up against it on the day! I will be collecting a hiding of note! :hammerhead: Both the 400m and 1km times that you have run, would make your car the quickest diesel in S.A. by a long shot. No diesel has managed to break out of the 13's in S.A. thus far, even at the coast and spraying NOS. That 215 km/h 1km diesel record at ODI stood for years and I recently saw that it was beaten and now you have subsequently simply obliterated it! Big up to you for taking diesel performance in S.A. to the next level. raise: I love that build thread on your car and where you have taken it to date, as well as your future plans for it. Ps. Who is your software tuner? Wish I could do similar but there are limitations as to what I can do with my car currently... Looking forward to the 24th...but not towards lining up against you! lol

Thanks for all the compliments bud ....biggest issue on my car was traction from the line ...semis made a huge difference. ...hope I can match my times from last time ...
I'm are your 535 makes a bit more power than my car.....against u is maybe weight ...will be a good day out at odi ..hope to see plenty bm's run sub 12s.....even if I can run a 12.99 ill be happy .....

Yeah, I need at least 2km to get the big girl up and running. :rollsmile: Traction is no doubt a huge issue with us diesels running open diffs, perhaps less so for me though, having more weight in that ass and with 275 rears as std. As with all, the RFT's suck though. I've experimented with dropping the pressures and the more one drops it, the worse my times are. The sidewalls are way too stiff and lowering the pressures causes cupping. Std tyre pressures with RFT's and no burnouts FTW over 400m. I tried wider semis and low pressures on my old 120d at Sport Compact and they made a big difference. I wish I had a set to try on Race Day, just to see what the potential in the car is! :thumbdo: By far the biggest issue with my car is heat soak and performance loss in high ambient temps though. I can lose over 10 km/h at the traps just like that. I'm counting on temps to be low on the day, in order for me to try to beat my previous times and traps done in almost 40 degree heat. I can truly believe the massive gains you got just from spraying meth despite you having a bigger IC fitted. Cold weather and a garden spray bottle is my water/meth. Lol.
