328i Rear Window

Hi All

I am in the process of buying a 328i Convertible, only problem is the rear plastic window is faded. :argh:

Does anyone know where i can replace it for a resonable price??

Wynberg auto trimmers, should be +-R3K but for a professional job with the rips!! Give them a call my price might not be 100% correct!!!

thanks for the reply, gave them a call and they wanted to charged me R2500 with mt getting the window from BMW which costs R5100. Total would have been R7600 :thumbdo:

Anyone else that can help me please??

That is madness, do you have to get the window from BMW? didnt they suggest alternatives.
Sorry bud, speak to the dent doctor here on this forum, im sure he can recommend some place or people!

yes buddy they wanted me to source the replacement window.
Tried many a scrap yard could no find any,decide to call BMW to get a quote and the price was a cheap R5100:biglol:

5100 for a piece of plastic?are the mad.

isnt it the same plastic as on these roller blinds at coffie shops,or resturants,when they close off the porch?

or is it a piece of 3mm plastic?in which case i would say perspex or something in that line

Its called polyglass. How badly has the glass faded? The best product to use is PlasticX.
