325is or Club Motors Special????

I have been approached by a guy in PE with what appears to be a very clean 325is. It was bought new from Club Motors and has passed through a few hands before this oke bought it. He is not sure if it is a genuine 'is or if it is a special from Club Motors. (Club used to do the Schnitzer conversions at one stage if memory serves me correctly.)

Anyway, I'd like to try and help him, so can anyone help me with the VIN number sequence of the 'is range please?

evo1 on is oaf evo2 is oej ALL 325is's are 5 hole. If its 4 hole its a shadowline

I don't think they will have the BMW SA stats and these were SA specials.

They got all the details on my SA VIN.

Either way, no harm in trying them. That or call the dealers.
