I took it for a test drive and I must say I was surprised at the power OMG a diesel goes like this  This is my first BMW diesel I drove after beeing very anti diesel cars. its a 2011 with 68 000km on clock and a sports pack. I must say the M version feels different to my normal 325i e90

You will regret every second

Every day you will ask yourself why

Everytime you put foot you will think about it

Everytime you fill up, you will cry

AND SAY:

WHY DIDNT I DO THIS SOONER!

You will love the 330D's torque!
And wait till you hit the open road!

The sales man also said. On the open road you will love it and I have to drive to experience it fuel economy speed and power. So what mileage will I get on a tank

Too many variables including state of motor and vacuums, to injectors and dpf. Not forgetting driving style etc. You will see a lot the diesels on the forum getting between 5.5L /100km to 7L/100km .

Me personally I average 7.7L/100km over the 14000 odd km I have done with my 530d, that's about 65% longdistance 35 % town and I enjoy spirited driving hearing the straight six and feeling the torque. On the freeway I drive like miss daisy and don't worry about speed traps etc.

Yeah, I would also consider it, considering the rocketing fuel price. Its also a straight six. The 330d is a big step up on the power & torque. Its best of both worlds power and fuel efficiency.

So where the pichas?

Open road = ±1000 km on a tank.
Town driving = ±700 km on a tank.
