Hi guys,

So after a GREAT breakfast ran last weekend, and some influance from some of the forum members, I have decided to keep my car, and pay her off, and then try to get another bmw.

I called bmw finance, and I got a surprise when I found out I only need to make 7 more installments on my car, and thats it.

Ok, the last installment, June 2012, is a baloon payment of R62k, but I am going to boost my nex 6 installments with R1500 to make that ammount smaller, and then bmw finance can re-finance the remainder over 12 months, or 18 months... :dunno:

So I went today and fitted new tyres at my friends at Hi-Q Hatfield, and paid R1420 per tyre for Goodyear F1 Asemetrics 245/40/17's, total was R5680, and I think thats not bad at all...

Wise decision.
Pay it off, save 5k per month and in 10 months time you have 50k + the Honda for a deposit on that 335i.
And with the new 3series coming, that 335 will be within reach.
Does not come with a roof rack though

Frikkie, I will keep the honda, that way Stef already has a car for when she turns 18 in a few years time.
I was thinking 5 series, or maybe a Z4. Will see what the future brings. :dunno:

So after driving around the entire day, doing shopping with the family to get all the stuff we still need for my mothers house, I am REALLY glad to report that those Goodyear tyres runs great.
My car sounds more quiet, less road noise, much better grip, greater feedback from the steering... I tell you, I should have replaced those Fulda's earlier... :mmm:

Now on Monday, I will give bmw finance a call, and hear how they will be able to assist me with that MOERSE baloon payment.

Awesome writing skills. you sure do have a talent for spinning an interesting web of intrigue and humor.

is this balloon payment thing what used to be called residual value, or is it something else.

good idea to keep the car, and plan for a 5 series of Z4.
