320d question

Hi All, i'm new too, yersteday, i had a problem with my 320d (13000KM), i was on traffic and all of a sudden the was smoke comming from the bonnet, smoke as if something was burning i'm not sure what caused this as i've been in a fraffic before and the car never gave me this, also the clutch pedals were lose, i had to park aside and wait till traffic was cleared before i could drive, what could be the cause of this?

What colour was the smoke? Could be hydraulic fluid that leaked onto something hot.

Was the car fine when traffic cleared, any smoke again, and I taken the car is no longer on motorplan

I had a similar issue with an Audi, where the Clutch Master cylinder pipe cracked and leaked onto the turbo because it got too hot...eventually caught fire!

Hi The car is under motorplan, the color of the smoke was white, and Today i sent the car to BMW dealer Midrand, hopeful they'll find a fault

That sounds like hydraulic fluid and you say the clutch went a loose.
