I just wanted to add the service I did on friday to my car's thread:

Oil changed.
Oil filter replaced.
Fuel filter replaced.
Air filter replaced.

All in all it took me about 2 hours to complete. The most difficult thing was removing the moerse panels under the car to get to the fuel filter.

The tricky thing was to keep the car on the jack while I removed the covers to place the 'bokkies' so it doest not just rest on the jack while I am working on it.

So I have bad news... I was driving on the highway and took a offramp where they are busy doing road works. I swerved our for some pedestrians crossing the offramp at night and hit one of the 'construction' barriers and went onto the side walk...

Now to have the talks with my insurance and so on... Im am very sad about this.

I fixed my alignment as it was wayyyy out after the accident. Now there are strange vibrations and noises so Im suspecting the curb I hit did some more damage or its just my rims that messed up.

Ag nee kak man! Sorry for your mishap. Glad you're all ok. You may have slightly buckled some rims or some suspension bits. I hope it's the rims.

sad to hear,

must have been quite hectic for the damage to extend to the rear of the bumper. The alignment guys would have noticed any major damage on the suspension, but if you hit something from the side, as in slide into it, chances are the suspension might have taken a knock.

She is 100% again. Turns out all damage was cosmetic.
Rear bumbper replaced, wheels repaired and balanced and alignment done.

I am very pleased with how King Price handled everything. +1 for their service.

Now to avoid all orange barriers on the road!!

I can barely keep up with the monthly repayments and insurance went up a shit ton for 2017... Im already spending more than I should on the car, but I just love it so much!!! So month on month I just keep postponing the inevitable.
