320d Mods in CPT

Hi All
I know this top has been covered before, my apologies for opening a new thread. If there is a good how to guide please post a link.:sorry:

My car should be back from service next week and I would like to do some mods.

I have read up a little and would like to know if some of these are over kill and also where in CPT to get them done. I tried to call the local agent for xcede but got no answer, so looking for alternatives.

I would like to fit a downpipe but keep the cat and add a cat back exhaust system and software.
I would also like to fit a 335i intercooler if i can find one in good shape and do a radiator clear.
My budget for all of the above is 17k.

Any advice will be appreciated:ty:

Last time I did research you can get DP and Software for under R10k for a 320d

For a dp the cat/dpf has to be removed. For 320 you should go with 63mm

there's so many options and u heading in correct direction wrt dp and sw...but will N54 intercooler make a difference on the 320D?
I know it does on the 330D though....
I can recommend Mario (C-Tech) to you and then i heard of SR tuning....Q-Tech....all good in diesels but do your homework first on all of them regarding after sales service...just search on facebook for their pages and see wht u can get.

Thanks for all the advice folks, I have tracked down a n54 intercooler going to have a look at it tonight. C-Teq will be doing the downpipe and tune next Friday. will post and update once all is done

Hi guys
C -Teq, Mario picked the car up from me in the CBD on Tuesday evening. He needed to do a carbon clean dp and sw. He said the car could be ready by Wednesday. Wednesday came around and he said the car was not done and it would be done Thursday. I tried calling Mario at around 11am this morning but he said he was driving and would call me back.
Five minutes ago he sent me this message: Soz for the delay on updates today. Been crazy.

The map on your car giving me some issues, where it is providing some loading errors on some of the code and is throwing the reload of the map out.

Ive sent the details to the company in Italy whom I purchased my mapping tools from so they can revert back to.me on what to do as Ivr not had a case like this before.

So, they should have it sorted by tomorrow. Then I will come to your house on Saturday morning if thats ok. And reload the map again.

All setting for the map is in and correct. They just need to.sort out the code error.

I know this is a bit of a run around and I know u need your car, so u can def collect in the meantime then I will come to you Saturday and load the map.

Now im heavily ticked off

Howzit Alex...sorry to hear abt this misfortune....I hope all this setbacks will be well worth it at the end of the day.
I know from personal experience that it does get frustrating at times when someone don't pick phone up and it makes you wonder if you went the right way....so hopefully everything gets sorted and you will be happy.

yes we do hate the extra waiting .. but im sure it will be worth it once theyve worked through the error codes . . atleast u can also still use the car now, and not have it sit in the workshop till its done ..

The 335i intercooler i looked at was pretty ragged so i didnt want to take a chance on it and the guy selling it was very scaly. Still looking for one

Yeah I was pretty ticked off when writing the post. I called Mario a little while after and talked through the issue with him so will give him the benefit of the doubt here.
Anger management is not a virtue for me :hammerhead:
