320d Airbag warning light

Hi all

The airbag warning light on my 320d has come on and is quite annoying. It came on a few months ago and I had it cleared when I serviced the vehicle. I am aware that it could be a real fault with the airbag system, but I am also aware that this is a "regular" problem or "bug".

Is there any way one can reset or bypass without employing diagnostic tools?

Thanks.

Chris.

Most likely a bad connection on the front drivers seat,

Remember your SRS system is not just airbags, its seatbelt pre-tentioners ect.

Over time the connection on the seats degrade, usually drivers considering use.

Read the error, figure out where your problem is and fix it.

No you cannot bypass/clear without diagnostics.

Yes there are methods/ways to bypass and even disable, but rather just fix the wiring fault.
