30 March - Calling all 1M's. CONVOY UPDATE

EVENT POSTPONED TO THE 30TH MARCH 2014 DUE TO WEATHER​

Sorry chaps, Mohammed from SA Beemer contacted me today and they have decided to postpone it to avoid the event from falling over due to rainy weather! Please update your calendars!!!

Ok Guys,

I was chatting to the BMW Car Club – Gauteng chairman the other day and he, like me seemed keen to try pull together as many 1M’s for a breakfast run or just a general meet. Now, most other countries do this very often but up to now, I’m not sure if we in SA have been able to pull something like this together. With the BeemerFest happening on the 15th March this could be a time to try make this happen? Are you guys keen or should I park this idea for another time?

Yes, so obviously I'm in!

I'm probably also cool to make 15 March, will just need to check our schedule with the management.

There is also a BMW Car Club Gauteng breakfast run this Sunday to Parys that I'll be taking my 1M to - that's providing I'm not too tired/hung-over from Nitro Circus on Saturday night.

On a side note though, it would be great for the 1M owners to do their own "special run" at some stage. Ideas?

Meeting Point: N1 BP Oasis, Beyers Naude. Going South (towards Lenasia)
Destination: BMW Summer Fest, Trade Route Mall.
