Also I dont think it was an absolute flop in all markets..

If you look at global sales it contributed just under 10% of all 5 series sales, my understanding is that BMW wanted to achieve 10% sales of 5 series volumes.

However it is not performing as expected in other key markets.

What would its application be?
The UK has the 3 series estate.... Perhaps for someone who has passengers wearing hats :biglol:

The F31 doesn't have much more space than the F30, apart from the boot ofcourse. The 3GT is an alternative, not the greatest....but an alternative.

Never really liked the 5GT, but if someone offered me an M-Sport 550i I definitely wouldn't refuse.

Who are these young designers at BMW taking on Hyundai? It should be the other way around!

The trick question? Which one really is appealing? COME ON BMW! Others can do certain cars! Leave them alone and build BMWs!

As he said... The 5 was a flop in the UK and believe me when I tell you that since its launch some 2 yrs ago I've only seen 2 on the roads .

If I want a 5 series, then I'm not going to buy this as a cheaper alternative .
The active rear spoilers old news as Audis had it on their sport back for over 18 mnths now.
Not for me, but I do like the front wheel vents

I like it. Should be an interesting alternative to the thousands of F30's on the road at the moment...
