ok i gathered what you all are saying and i will give this some thought before i sign anything but with that said, never mind the situation that i am in would it be a mistake buying a 2011 E90 320D? and just BTW you guys are awesome so much love for Ford on a BMW Forum :clapper:
Don't buy a car on emotion. Actually, don't buy anything substantial based on emotion, especially if you are using someone else's money (bank) to finance it.

If you are able to buy cash, it's a different story, but based on the info u have shared, and the facts that we are aware of, keep the Ford!

What everyone else said :tiptoe:

And the fact that a BMW forum is telling you to keep the Ford, is really saying something. Doesn't make sense, unless you love being in debt and are looking for a car that would depreciate more than you current car.

This is why I always warn people about Residual and why they shouldn't buy an expensive car they actually cant afford on residual. It will bite you in the ass later on. The bank will win and you will loose. Or you will give the car back to a dealership and walk away with nothing! Only to have to finance another car with residual all over again for another 72 months or what ever the case may be!

To buy the E90 with 7x the mileage is such a ridiculous decision I don't even know why your fanning the flame.

Basically your in heavy debt with the Ford already, but at least if something goes wrong like a turbo pops, your covered. Don't be naive and think these kinds of things wont happen because the car is so new etc, They happen! and when they happen on the E90 you will cry! When my gearbox poped on my E46 BMW wanted 84k to replace it. when my turbo poped it was big money that I had to fork out, its not just the turbo that needs to be replaced when it pops, its inter coolers, boost pipes etc, ends up costing a good 20 - 30k depending on how unlucky you are, and if it damages the injectors then its a good 60k.

To get the E90 you will actually have to refinance, Financed money! :YesNo: The banks love this shit, they absolutely love it when people do this! your adding years onto your debt, You should think of it as being in jail and you just got a couple years added to your sentence!

There is nothing better than owning a paid off car man! think of all the things you could do with that extra cash every month! Keep the ford and pay it off! put as much extra cash into it every month as possible.

Now that's a perfect way to look at it! That's the sad truth right there! Well said.

This is not about Ford or BMW. Its about helping another person make the right decision and not putting him in a worse situation. This Forum has alot of good members that care. I must say this is the most responsible forum I have ever been on. Honest and straight awnsers you will get on this forum and no beating around the bush if you know what I mean. Take the advise and keep the ford its in your best interest.

Nobody can tell you what to do. All a person can do is advise you and give you information. What you do with that is all on you. Good Luck on your decision.
