Im sure its going to be an amazing car but its just not that V10 5.0L monster from the previous model. They are gonna have to tweak that V8 to growl like a beast.

Probably a DCT or SMG box...

Agree on the sound

Wow...

Those are fast gear changes... Did anyone see the slight presence of a power bulge (on the bonnet)? :mmm:

The new M5 is going to be pretty awesome I am sure, I just kinda wish BMW would stay from turbos on the ///M's.

The new M5 car does not growl....exhaust will be detoned simillar to the current V8 M3 stock exhaust. There is nice howl which one can hear in the distance. But its begging for an aftermarket exhaust with a bark.:thumbsup:

if they keep the M cars NA it will mean that all the turbo cars will end up faster than the Ms because a turbo is way easier to mod...so bmw has to turbo the Ms

It has more to do with stringent emissions regulations more than anything else, thus the birth of BMW's efficient dynamics and the decision to go turbo on their cars.

For some reason I like the fact that the M5 will be getting a V8 again. It just seems to fit better. Maybe that's just me. :mmm:

I listened to the car with my headphones... there's just nothing like a V8

I cannot wait for it to be released. It feels like forever for me. I do not think there is a car I have wanted more. I do not really care how it looks. If I can upgrade my 335 to what it is I do not want to know what the M5 will be capable of. I had a look at the X5 M motor and a turbo swop will take three hours hehe.
