Trust you are doing well.

I am considering a 2012 740i with 83,000km on the clock. No issues and the current owner just spent sbout R43k on the car for a service and some repairs. The body / paintwork do stiil look good and the inerior is beutiful.

The price is R240k.

Do you think it is a good buy?

considering a new Polo GTi is 500k,this seems a bargain for all the car and luxury and power you get with it.

Hey, just as the other guys noted, looks like a car from Bots.

7s are buttery smooth, if it’s a daily driver expect larger bills for disks, pads, tyres as they wear down faster than smaller cars like 3 and 5 series from my personal experience.

740i engine is good workhorse with more than enough power, and generally less maintenance over the V8 which I love. Again just my personal experiences…

Botswana plates, so unless you want to drive to Botswana to cross the border once a month in order to keep it, and know someone in Botswana to do the change of ownership etc, maybe its better to buy a local car.

A pity as these Jap spec cars are always well specced.
