2010 E90 boot trunk

Hi, can someone advise on my E90 trunk release button does not work.
Car is out of motorplan.

Guess you're gonna have to use the button on the car keys in the meantime!

Look in the glove box maybe it is on valet mode.

If I remember clearly if the remote also is not working '
you need to use the spare key which has a pull out key in it
that us insert into the truck push in twice and turn

The key is working fine, it's just the button that does not work.
