technical 2010 E82 120D Clutch failure?

Good evening everyone.

When I drove my car this evening I lost my clutch. The pedal went to the floor and won't come up. When the engine is turned off I can select any gear, but with the engine running I can't select any gear from neutral.

If I start the car in first, with the clutch depressed the car jumps forward. Is this a clutch failure, low fluids, master/slave cylinder?

Where would you recommend to start looking?

Thanks!

This morning the pedal was still too the floor, but when I pulled it back up it stayed there and I could atleast get in gear and drive the car home.

Will start looking for the issues now.

clutch should be fine if car jumps forward when trying to start, might have lost fluid on your slave cylinder or it is damaged/worn.

Slave cylinder is leaking breaking fluid.
