2010 BMW X1 sdrive 2.0d (buying advice)

Sup Gents,

My brother in law is looking at buying one of these. Any advice what to look for? At the stated mileage, is any additional maintenance required? Are there any issues with these cars?

They offering extended warranty for 12,000km or 3 years.

They are great cars, not too much to worry about it if they are serviced routinely. BMW Technicians usually have good things to say about the 20d engine in particular, often referring to it as "bulletproof"

I wonder what they mean by SDrive Kit though? :rollsmile:

Have it for close to a year now.. no problems so far! Great cars.. a 1000km or so on a tank of fuel..

As far as I know SDrive is rear wheel drive and XDrive is all wheel drive

Umm yes that's correct but what I'm referring to is the kit part? As in what is a "SDrive Kit"? Guessing it is just something made up to make the car sound like it has more extras.
