Hi Guys,

I have a 2010 BMW 125i and would like to know what I can do to improve my fuel consumption.
I travel about 70km p/d and it adds up. I don't want to change my car as i LOVE it but It I might need to.
Your advice would be much appreciated.

A Decat will not improve your fuel efficiency as you will sacrifice your low end torque and no tuning will do that. If you have the budget get a second car that is light on fuel that's what they making now.

Don't torture yourself those cars were ment to be all the way to 7000rpm.

Change to a 120/320d bud. Will be a massive improvement in economy while retaining similar power.

No valuable input here. Post some pics 😁
I had a 2010 125i Msport Auto in white. Only kept it for around 10/11 months, regret selling it so quickly.

The 125i's have a 3.0 N52 engine, no such thing as better fuel consumption.
decatting will not help believe me i tried that, not sure about remap as i have never been exposed to that side of tuning.

The 125i drinks as much as 135i...many guys just bought the 135i because then you get the fun factor etc. for the same fuel spend. Everyone who has had this car has always reported the high fuel consumption and very little fixes to drop the consumption. You can check in with @Sherwin@xcede for remapping options and also chat to him on if the fuel consumption changes.

6 cylinder BMW ( petrol )engines and low fuel consumption in one sentence ? Never ( you don't buy them for their consumption ) !!!, should it be low, more likely something is wrong. If consumption is an issue, go for the diesel power units, they do very well.
