this one is a fair bit under that price

What your thoughts??

He would possibly trade in the Jeep & E60 525i & E46 318i on the deal..

Is the 520d a good car?

Any bad points?

Also how much longer is this compared to a E60???

I dont know. Just got told about this when I got home..

Think he should get the guy to bring the 520d for us to test & then see if they have a 530d for us to test..

That will then be a no brainer, the 530d is by far the superior car, no contest, but has a far superior price as well...

I have driven both the 520d and the 530d at a launch event at Kyalami.

I can tell you for a fact that the 530d is awesome. It handles well, and has amazing power, not to mention the fact that its very comfortable and has alot of nice new things, like the e-brake thats just a button and the white OEM angel eyes.

Granted, the one I drove had the R25k extra integral active suspension that lets the rear wheels turn, which makes taking bends at 180km/h feel like you are doing it at 100km/h.

If you can, rather go for the 530d, the 520d is underpowered and feels sluggish in comparison. then again, finding one with low kms, with tons of extras and for the right price might take some patience, but I think its worth it fo shizzle!

drove 520d f19 - not bad @ all .. bit laggy on pull away but pulls strong after that ..
stk suspension bit floaty .. very comfy cab though ..
