2010 320i Auto ENGINE SEIZED

My beloved 2010 BMW 320i's engine has seized just over one year after purchase. Warranty is expired etc. Can any body suggest a supplier for a good second hand engine. Affordability is an issue right now, the car is still under finance...sucks...

I normally go to 2 places for my parts, Bemow 0123270763 and Majestic 0123770900 but they both in Pretoria west area. Maybe give them a call, they not that expensive and maybe can give you a good deal.

Don't know what happened bu I've been told this happens to this particular model. Oil cover gasket is apparently to blame and engine burns oil internally without any issue signal.

yep really sad state of affairs, so gonna try a couple of the suggested engine vendors and try to get a good deal. Here's hoping.

How was the oil levels and did the car heat up or sound loud or give any signs of failure.

None of these, just a weird puff of smoke out the exhaust from time to time, but I thought it was a silencer issue.
