Sorry man I had forgotten about this post. BMW had repaired it for us don't know what they did but it's working fine now.

Here's an update with some pics, loving the X5 even more every day. I take hundreds of pics of it and have left some below. X5's been behaving it itself but there's still a few wear and tear issues that will be sorted out but so far it's been amazing.
