2009 BMW M6

Hi Guys I need your opinion on this post. I have just purchases a 2011 335i DCT coupe with lots of extras ( R150 000 ). I am keen on swopping it for a 2009 M6 with 22 000 kms,do yo think its a good idea.

hWZT BUD... I see your situation both are extremely beautiful machines.... I would say IMO fair enough the v10 M6 is awesome all that power

1. its got about 3 years left on motorplan compared and to your current 5 years you have left

2. if ever you sell your car I would say moving your 335i will be way easier to sell then a M6...

3. 335i is more practical but then again depends on what you will be using the car for...

But then again.... that V10 its an M6.........

As appealing an an M6 is.... it makes more sense financially to keep the 335i, unless finance is not at issue for you....

The M6 is an absolute beast and its an M!!
Both are awesome cars, and I'd probably go with the M6 every time! But jsut be aware that the SMG III is the older gen, still a great box though. The M6 will also hold its value less then the 335i I think. Speculating on current pricing.....

Yeah bud, depends what you gonna be using the car for, everyday drive keep the 335, weekend cruiser/bruiser, take the M6!

Have driven a M6... And WOW! What a machine... But at R1.2mil... you will loose around 400k in value in the first year alone.

If you can afford that kind of loss.... GO FOR IT!!

If I'm you I'll sell the 335i cash it up and buy a pre owned 06-07 M6 with low kilos and drive it for a while, by swopping for the 09 you DEF gonna loose a lot very soon remember the new shape 6 is out not long before new M6 comes out than you won't be able to even give the 09 M6 away price is gonna drop BIG TIME. If still stuck between the 2 keep the 335, M6 no go.
