Hi Guys,
Just had oil service done on my 2008 X5 E70 3.0D 112000km completed by friend of mine {highly qualified} and has diagnostic machine so could do the service reset same as the agents would have!
Problem now is that in the iDrive when I go to oil level status it shows me "oil level too high" in yellow, we have removed some oil trough the dipstick tube but still the same meassage!!!
Was pefect before the service, have now checked the level by use of the dipstick and perfectely on its level, however this continuing message on the iDrive is really p*ssing me off {is there some way I can clear this} have also been told that it could be the sump sensor acting up .......... one of the many pains owning a beamer is the old sensor crap :bangdesk:
Any ideas????
