2008 BMW 135 coupe auto ..Keep or sell?

Honestly, I have found putting a baby seat in the 135i coupe EASIER than the wife's 4 door. Because you push the seat forwards to clip it into the base, rather than having to swivel it in from the side. And once your lightie is bigger and they migrate to a larger seat (we have a Recaro) then it's a permanent fixture.

I guess it depends on the type of seat too. I had a Peg Perego thinggamabob that unclipped from the pram base and into the car base, while the baby remained in it. Battled with it when I had my E36 M. With the bigger child seat that stays permanently in the car, it's much easier.

Also, my wife always wanted to sit in the back with baby initially, and a 2 door is not the most practical from this perspective too. Granted these issues are only temporary ...

We'd clip it in, wife gets in, I hand her my daughter and she clips her in from there. Job done. But yeah my wife didn't really dig the whole spine rotation thing and found it a little tricky! Point is though that I think many make too big a deal about it when it's a slight drawback to a special car and shouldn't mean remodelling your lifestyle - the whole SUV thing "cos now I've got a kid" is so inaccurate (comment not aimed specifically at the OP, I'm just generalising)
