They gotto get to their offices/homes first and with a 320i, that's gonna be a while. In fact, those cars don't need speedometers, they need calenders, as none of them have arrived yet :mmm:

Probably did not need them. Car is slow enough by itself.

There's not much of a defence for the 4 cylinder 320i but as the guys already pointed out it all depends on what car you were previously driving. When I went from a 160i Toyota Conquest to the E46 318i, I felt the BMW was much better (not faster) and then went on to the E46 320i which thank goodness is 6 cylinder. Although the 6 cylinder E46 320i has its own draw backs it is a million times better than the E90 320i (in my opinion). Having driven the E90 320i on many occassions and also having considered buying one, I decided I would rather replace my current E46 320i with one of the last produced E46's such as a 330i or an M3 for a lot less than you can buy a new E90 320i. Sorry if I offend any E90 owners but the E46 is a better looking car (in and out).........

I think people who buy automatic cars with engines making less than 350nm should be committed, it is such a waste. Apparently on the 320i "start" you don't even get A/C. Not even as an option. Its like a chico golf, but with airbags.

EDIT: But still not as fast as a chico

Well the 4-cyl is probably the future of the 3-series, I expect all the next generation 3's will have variants of this or and evolution of this 2.0l 4-cyl in NA and FI form (apart from the M3 of course)

It will be a great disappointment if BMW gets rid of the great inline 6 for the future 3 series

atleast the 320i owners know the specs of BMW's better than the rest, rather have knowledge than drive a fast car with no brains (no aircon on start - P1000:thinking:, E90 being called an E91 - BMW M:hammerhead::thinking and these okes are actually still not afraid to actually post this nonsense:dunno: lol...ha ha

okay seriously, i had an A3 2.0 FSi and it was slightly quicker than the Beemer cause of the weight, but other than that, i do want more power but what i got in the beemer compared to the market, i was quite happy. my trip to Natal was awesome and when the 320i is there, its another car altogether, drives very well! mind you, i used very close to a tank to go and come from Natal which wasnt bad in my opinion so the car is not the rocket and high stakes of BMW but it is a livable car and you can get a nicely specced one for a decent price whereas other manufacturers with slower vehicles and way lower specced vehicles for tons more. and once on the open road, it goes quite well also.

PS. bring your diesels and come beeschs!!! from the line, i will fill petrol in your motors while yourll waiting for the robo and then we see who will win he he he:clap:
