Can somebody please help here - :biglol:.....my 320d e90 auto started with an oil leak . With me being totally bootless when it comes to my way underneath the bonnet I booked an app. with my serviceman and unfortunately had to wait for a week or so before the app.
Just within that week I started getting a yellow sign
- looked it up on the manual and it reflected something like limp mode being activated - (the yellow barbed circle with exclamation mark inside) and when that sign appears on the dash board (normally on "D"), the car won't go backwards when i want it to.
The gear would engage on R but on the dash board it w'd only show N. It would go back to normal after switching the engine off for a while. It went on like this for a few days and it was late before I could turn it for the app. The gear 'refused' to engage on R no matter how many times I switched the engine off and on again. I put it on N and had it pushed backward from where I was parking to head to to Centurion to the serviceman. A few metres away I realised that the there was no speed acceleration. Fearing the worst, I called the tow guys to come lift. Took it in last week Friday and am waiting to hear the story he is gonna come up with. Can somebody please help wrt to what to expect form him?:bangdesk:
