I have the opportunity of buying a 2007 E90 335i

The details:
2007
BMW 335i
M Sport
Automatic
56000 kms
Motorplan to 120k or 2013 (Extended)
BMW Premium Selection car

I would be looking to keep this car for 4years+
I have heard some stories about reliability issues on the early models (HPF, Ingnition coils, plugs, turbo's etc) How likely/often do these issues occur? Would it be advisable to own such a car once motorplan runs out?

That mileage is not too bad for the model....

You could also extend for another year to 2014 and I doubt you will even get to 100,000kms by then....

So depending on the price, I would say it sounds good....

I've owned one and tbh I didn't have any major issues but then again I had motorplan....

I guess the risk is always there with owning these cars especially if the turbo was abused in the past but overall they are awesome cars and I would buy one again anyday.

So I would say go for it if you are happy with the deal....

Nice mileage for the model.... could be a good deal depends on the price!!

Forget the HPFP issues etc.... MP will cover all that!!!
Buying years is cheaper than mileage! so at 56k km its still young!!!

doo it if it was going off MP i would maybe not take it because of the HPF, Ingnition coils, plugs, turbo's etc im hoping some atomic aftermarket parts will solve those problems as the cars get older...

Go for it. If it's clean and accident free, again, go for it.

My 2008 Auto has 112 000km on the odo. Bought it with 70 000km on the odo.
Had 2 HPFP done, plus one recall on the HPFP last year. Also had all 6 injectors replaced @ 50 000km IIRC.

That is it. Not once did it give me any trouble or left me stranded. I drive it hard.

Mine is out of MP, taking a chance here.

Had it serviced last month, oil change and oil filter, plus new brake fluid, R1956 @ the stealers. The next day I had my BMW 1200 GS bike serviced @ the stealers, oil change and oil filter, new brake fluid, and not even an air filter, for R1978.

Go for it... It's also a Premium Selection Vehicle, and BMW only sells the best pre-owned vehicles.

Go for it!!! That said, they always have a premium on their price too.
