i too was in the market for one in this range. i'll keep my options out for the 3.0D then.

about that gearbox spontaneously stop working, is this common on the E53?

I have a 2008 BMW X5 3.0D E70 what kind of thing can I do on her to reduce diesel usage and still maybe get a bit more Oooph out of her without having to spend large bucks and kill the motor???
