Can't help it.........

When mine was done it threw no errors, I only did software the next day

Vrsexy has done it on his 330d with no issues, without software

Are those prices based on agents parts ?

I normally replace all the filters on every service. The air filter I changed to a K&N filter so just service it on every service. The micro filter I do on every 2nd service.
Get the parts from agent. Spend the cash but know it's kept healthy and I make sure the service intervals are set around 10000km.

Some see it as a waste to spend replacing every service I look at it as keeping it healthy for longer.

Agree with you Husain, however I'd be skeptical with the K&N, but that's just me......

Is yours still stock?

I've got software done on the car. That's about it. Have not gotten to the dp yet.

Labor is not agents price, parts are agents price and oil is liquimoly price.

I also use K&N filters. Had them on both my E90s and now my E46 as well. They work great.

However I dont think Fuel Filter needs replacing every service. I think thats overkill especially if you're changing oil every 10 000kms. My 330d which has 417k kms did not have the fuel filter done at every service.

vrsexy must of had cat foolers put on or something.

I think the fuel filter supposed to be changed every 80000kms. It has a long life filter.

Dieselfan I agree bud. It don't need to be changed at every service but just personal choice.
It's just how I like having things done.

Howzit. Check what was replaced by mp on last service. If all filters were done by mp, chances are that you can only change engine oil and filter. Try Bosch agent for services and repair. They have all the tools and know how of BMW, but at half the cost of labour. If you compare BM dealer part prices to conventional part stores, you would see that BMW is not that expensive with the normal service parts
