80k km on the original filter. Ouch. Get the MP history on the car and request invoices sent to MP. I'm sure they would make a big issue about this with the dealer in question, internally. They also got screwed in the process and they have a bigger stick than anyone else outside of the system.

Filters not being changed by bmw is a rather common thing. I have had a few cars come in with over 200 000km on their original fuel filter. Should see the muck that comes out of a +200k filter.:yuck:

One needs to question whether dealers change the oil? if it such a inconvenience to change a filter, the least labor intensive activity of the service.

FSH in most cases mean nothing I'm afraid.

The way you get the valvetrain so well cleaned up is incredible. Would you mind explaining the basic process of how you do it?

Lol, but driving the car afterwards without wondering what each funny noise is, or a sick feeling in your tunny due to stress, makes the expense wort it :=):

Molybdenum.

Used as cam lube during assembly for first dry start before oil reaches top of engine
