2006 E90 valvetronic actuator motor

Hi guys.
I need some help.

My engine management light came on.
Did diagnosis and I was advised I need to replace the valvetronic actuator motor.
Apparently this is a popular fault with these cars.

My warranty wont kick in until October and the garage quoted me a very high amount! :thumbdo:

I was wondering if any of you guys encountered the same problem and can perhaps recommend a place that can do the job cheaper for me?

If its the N46 engine (320i) then the motor is R4845 from the agents, a new tappet cover gasket will also be needed and around 4hours of labour to do the job.
