If any one can help me , i am looking for a clean 2006-09 BMW M6 that's for sale , please let me know if you know of one.

I would also like some info regarding the prices and who i can speak to regarding the Smg Hydraulic pump failures that seem to haunt these cars.

Title is misleading. Sounds like you already have an M6 and need help...

Sorry if its misleading i am looking for a M6 , however i heard that they have a issue with their smg hydraulic pump so think its worth while knowing what that replacement would cost in advance.

I have moved your thread to the ///M Fanatics forum for possibly more responses as the I think the concern is also related to the M5:coolShake:

In the 2 and a half years I had my 07 M6 I never had an issue with the hydraulic pump. It's something you can't really predict. The only gearbox component I had an issue with was the Clutch Position Sensor, which was R7k from BMW and about R1500 to replace by an Indy mechanic.

If you have concerns, I would suggest getting it either to BMW or to a specialist that knows these gearboxes well and have them check it out. Come to an agreement with the dealer/owner of the car to have this done. Personally I don't know of anyone on this forum that had that specific problem, but I may be wrong.

Thanks Bugger , just read on some of the Bmw forums that its a big problem and an expensive on at that too , but your suggestion is spot on thanks again.

Sure man no problem. Just do due diligence on the car, it'll be worth the effort. They're absolutely awesome pieces of machinery. Also try get one closer to 2010 if you can, and preferably with CIC navigation versus the CCC navigation unit. You'll never regret owning an E63 M6.
