I still think you should take the intercooler off and fill with water to check for leaks, its a very effective way to find boost leaks, I did it on my 330d and I have done it on my Z4 and found leaks on both which gained me allot more ponies and got rid of annoying flat spots.. Its extremely common especially on a high miler like this one.

Its a bloody mission to do a boost leak test on these cars otherwise, I never got it right cause of the surclip designs on all the piping.

So I ordered the part incorrectly, ETK have it pictured incorrectly and because it's electric they won't return it, R1400 down the drain. Thanks BMWSA!
Correct part ordered, will be here tomorrow. R2100 later....:eek:mgwaiting:

By accident I ordered this one:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=ED92-EUR-06-2004-E46-BMW-330d&diagId=11_3600

In reality it looks like this:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=PD92-EUR-10-2007-E83N-BMW-X3_30d&diagId=11_3876

2100 for the small plastic sensor.... omw

I would rather drive a black car again than have a beige interior!:skit:

Gizmo is probably still blocked.

Better off following another thread.
If you read between the lines, it could be permanent

From my point of view, it was a collective mob that attacked him on that other thread.

Unfortunate that the admins only punished the single person (although I know there are other additional reasons, this website being run like a business), instead of all involved.

That said, the rules are structured in such a way that there is no point in complaining anymore on what happened. Like others have pointed out, follow the build on the e46fanatics site.
