So I have been itching to do a E46 330d build and have been keeping an eye out on the local FS sites for several months now. Finally, a 150kw version popped up but not manual 6spd, it's a steptronic but the car was priced well and it has a bunch of options my touring never came with. Webuycars had advertised it on gumtree so Monday morning I drove through to their Midstream branch (Centurion) to check it out, test drove it and bought it at the asking price of R47 000 knowing it will suit my plans and cheap enough to cut loose if it turns out to be a lemon, lucky for me the car is better than I was expecting.

Picked up some service items on the way home.
Frugal for Monday lunch time traffic from Centurion back to Alberton.
Dropping old oil and inspecting the new ride. See a bunch of new parts on the car, new engine and gearbox mounts, new guibo, sump bolts for the gearbox are brand new and the way the gearbox shifts will lead me to believe it's been reconditioned recently.
Fitted my Z4M wheels as the tyres are new.
Only real issue for now is the boost pipe has popped off twice as it's been mangled by a previous owner. Will see what my options are because I aint paying the R7k BMW wants for a new one.
