2004 E46 Clutch problems

Guys
I am really frustrated with my E-46’s clutch. November 2011 I had problem with the clutch pedal not pressing all the way. The part that could depress was soft and regular and the biting point of the clutch was normal, the clutch was not slipping, I cloud still get the car into gear, except 1st.Not wanting to take chances I had the vehicle towed in to the Agents.
The diagnostic was that the clutch kit needed replacement @ +/-102 000Km. The clutch was replaced under motoride warranty, R5.2k.
The same day I got the car the clutch juddered heavy and once only. I queried this with the agents and they say the Flywheel needs to be replaced, which they estimate R11.2K.
Guess what, now @105 500km the clutch is paddle can only press have the distance again.
Please anyone help give, I need advice. I think the Agents are busy ripping me off.

Firstly, I'd find a reliable BMW mechanic rather than the agents. 11.2k for a flywheel??? I priced one for mine not to long ago, was just short for 3k for the part.

FYI
I was quoted for flywheel and clutch replacement around 9k at a clutch and brake spot in Bellville. This is for e46 2000 model.
F the agents.

Thanks guys for the reply.

Bit, I am not 100% sure that the Flywheel is the problem.

I could be the Clutch Delay Valve or even slave/master cylinder.

I dont know, I got quatation for a LUK Flywheel at Goldwagen for R2.5k. and if I replace the FW do I need to replace the Clutch kit again?

The major problem is that we don't have good BMW specialist in East London. This Sucks!!
