Hi,
My BMW has been giving this problem over the last few months. It blows the low-beam bulbs. Both bubls at exactly the same time and almost always when its been raining or when the road is wet. The part that is weird to me is that it doesn't aways blow the bubls when the car gets wet. For example, I drove in a massive storm two weeks ago and the bulbs were fine, but today as i was leaving work i drove through a small puddle and then i stopped at the garage to check the car's tyres and when i started the car the bubls died.
The evening after the storm that i mentioned i drove home from a friend's house and the battery light stayed on all the way home and the ODB #9 function read 11.6 volts all the way home. When I stopped here and switched the car off for about 5 min and started it again the car was giving normal readings again. Are these two problems related?
I've used BMW's bulbs, OSRAM nightbreakers and Philips crystal vision bulbs. This problem has been costing me a bit of money.
So any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance
