I seem to have a problem with my AC not changing blowing speed nor blowing cold , actually not blowing at all as it is.
Did some searching and two things by the looks of it , Final stage unit or blower motor now where shall i start ? anyone know of very good auto electrician in Cape Town or Namibia ?
I rarely drive the beast and last time i did all was working fine , find it hard to believe that the AC just died.

Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Hi, yes, sounds like the final stage resistor as my previous X5 used to do exactly that and when i replaced it it was fine. Can get an after market one. I got mine from the local Silverton Radiator agent herer in Hermanus but i am sure Goldwagen will also be able to supply. Not a difficult job on the X5 as it has nice large doors and also it being auto, one can remove the old one without too much hassle. Google the procedure as it will take too long to describe it.
