2002 e46 330CI doors auto lock and closing the roof with the Key

Hi Guys,

Would any one know of a way to program the doors to automatically lock once you start driving and as well as my roof doesnt open or close using the keys on the remote i have to physically insert the key and turn it.

Any ideas?

Stealers want R650 for one hour labour here in Midrand to do that simple programing??!!!

As far as i know on the E90, when you lock all the doors and windows. Press and hold the button that you would use to unlock the door. While holding the button down and not releasing it all windows and the sunroof will open.

press the open button twice to unlock all the doors , then hold it in , then all the windows and sunroof will open , to close press the lock button to lock the doors , then hold it in , all the windows and the sunroof will close.

hmmm this doesnt work, any ideas why? If i do it manually with the key in the lock it works...

Can't close roof and windows with remote, only with key in door on 650i. Think its a safety feature. . . .Maybe the roof and windows of a cabriolet can't detect an obstruction. The boss says as far as he can remember it use to close with remote when the car was new.
