Hey guys,

Here I am again with another problem... The wife took the car out this morning and as the title reads, WTF is wrong with this car now? I googled for a bit but there are so many opinions to this... Anybody here had this issue before and maybe how to fix? I have attached the photo.

Thank you!

Steering angle sensor if the lights come on with a beep when you start driving.

It did beep once when it came on for the first time but the car was still standing.

@Dippies
I thought about that so I'm trying to find a place that can run diagnostics on my car here in Richards Bay.

Something just crossed my mind... last weekend I went down to Dbn but I had to swap one rear tyre out with my spare cuz it was worn out. I am still driving with the two different tyre types. Same size but not same brand/thread. Would that make any difference or could that be the cause of this problem?

its the difference in tire size giving weird speed readings... get two new tires and it will go away...

it is i have had the same thing before with odd sizes... you probably find the wear on the tires is different making them have different rolling diameters...

no kiss thanks :yuck:

If you comming to Durban in the near future I can help you with a diagnostic read, have cable and inpa...unfortunately my set up cannot re calibrate the steering angle sensor but at lEast we can nail the problem down to what the ecu say...

there are a few things that can cause this think all the common ones are mentioned here... but swapping on that tire seems most lightly because this started happening soon after...

I have had the same issue when running odd sizes from front to back... I ended up solving my issue by running different tire pressures till i killed the offensive tires...

what happened with me is the lights would pop up sometimes when i started the car... once i found tire pressures that produced the right rolling diameter to make the car happy the problem went away... now that Im running the right sizes all round the lights have never come back...

OK I don't know wtf happened to my post yesterday but anyway... I got two new rear tires fitted 2 weeks ago plus alignment. Got the codes read and reset on Wednesday. Not even 100m out of the shop the lights came back on. I have attached the printout of the scan. Please ignore the glow-plug and battery voltage errors, those are old and I don't think it's been reset before.
