Please don't change the wheels on the M5... Nothing else looks right IMO :fencelook:

I agree RAA, OEM rim is the best looking on the M5. Was looking for a 19" replica that can take a 305 plus width tyre

Agreed, although I may be biased :fencelook:
The CSL wheel also looks really sweet on the E39, as it does on every other model!

Most epic thread ever! Not sure if this has been asked but are you considering selling the M3?

Thanks Drama.

You sir, are a legend!! I've been obsessed with the e36 2dr M3 since it came out. My ultimate goal is to do what you have done now. One day when I'm wealthy, I too shall restore the most epic car ever built.

Keep the pics coming!

Whilst the M3 is in for its cosmetic work, I've been driving the M5 every 2nd day. Before being M3-less, I liked the M5 but didn't love it. After 3 or 4 days behind the wheel, I've gained a soft spot for it. The best way to explain it is. Addictive M5 brutality yet pure comfort 😈. One two occasions now, I've switched off the Traction Control (DSC) and really enjoyed the car, car is so well balanced and with the horses under the bonnet I'm leaving a few black stripes on the tar with ease. Who woulda thought i would become addicted to an M5.
Managed to get a unique angled photo of the M5 from a 2nd story building.

2 weeks waiting seems worth it, picked up the M3 today from the panel shop. Must say thanks to Joe for putting up with pedantic me.
2 week wait for paint to harden properly before a full polish.
Some pics at collection
