Reading your last post, I couldn't help but think this should slot into the latest Mills&Boon novel. The way you were describing the experience, I had a good chuckle. Any heavy breathing take place? lol

But great post, I'm glad all the effort was worth it. And a superb example of a motoring icon. Well done to all involved in this build!

Hahaha Gav. Not so much heavy breathing as the car is breathtaking. I've just added that, for a little while, I've even let it park in place of something very special too.

Thank you ,

I have enjoyed building your M3 Elton it's a been one of the best cars I've every build for a friend and having you drive her and enjoy her brings back all the memorys of building rally cars in Kenya more than 18 years ago for a group of guys that enjoyed cars and won races...

Trevor was asking me last week when I was re building the M5 throttle body's of my days at Tarlton,

If I enjoy working at this level on road going cars and how it was when I worked on the team for 11 years building the fastest 1/4 mile car's in Africa and the Top Fueler we built in one week, Nico and I and a guy from the US started on a sunday night and the next friday Nico ran a record of 396km/h and that record still stands to this day and the team from Norway have asked me to help them in Sept with there Top Fueler to break this record
,
I love building cars for guys that enjoy them.............

The work and detail gone into this is great to see, keep it coming!

It would be awesome to have a plexiglass mould of a M5 plenum cover to show off the intake bling!

But where will you put the M5 carbon fiber logo plate?
[/quote]inside dummy!

You sell it to Jason at Saker Auto ?
I picked it up from him a few months ago ? If it's yours, thank you so much for looking after her so well, was almost two years of searching before I found this M3.
Did you have the M5 too?

Unfortunately I sold it to someone else that passed it on Jason, I owned that car for a few years and it only did only 4000 KM since getting it. Call me sometime I will pass you more history of the car.

Glad you got it Sir! :ty:

Went past the workshop today, thought I'd take the M3 for a drive as she is going in for a spray tomorrow and will be away for 10 days. Bruce had the M5 out for me to test.... Will write up about the M5 soon but would like to add a video of it when I do. I took advantage of the cars being side by side to take a few pics.

That M3 :inlove: ........it just outshines the M5 even though the E39 M5 is still one of my favorite BMW's.
