2.7/2.5 E30 Head Wanted

Hey Guys

Is anyone in possesion of a genuine BMW 2.7/2.5 Head with some decent life on it For SALE? Even just the bare head will suffice as i will transfer my existing bits.

Alternatively even the old 525e head comes with a 2.7 stamp.

Please note that i am not intersted in the Generic heads as sold by Alert etc.

Appreciate your anticipated assistance and feedback guys.

Appreciate your response. I am aware that these heads are as good as gold, but i have come across a few in the region of R3k and will have a look when im up in jhb next week.

i thank you for the offer however i am aiming toward a stock head and not keen on a flowed version right now as im weary of reliabilty issues when it comes to flowed heads (learnt the hard way with my 16v Gti)

no problem i took this one off my motor and replaced it with a copy of the is head that had the modded combustion chambers
if you dont come right with one you know where one is
i never had any issues with all my flowed heads on the m 20 the only problem i had was a dropped valve and that broken head is also resting in my garage

My Search in jhb has proven fruitless. a guy that i had been communicating with for almost a week literally sold the head as i entered his store, even after i had informed him that i was arriving there shortly from Durban all the way to pretoria. I saw the customer carry the head and load it into his car.......heartbroken.

im in contact now with another guy and hmmm this time wont be getting my hopes up until i have the head in my possesion.

my Search continues. will keep you posted if i strike gold :thumbs:
