1st time going German

Hey Guys... picking up my bimmer in a day or two.. have been lurking this forum for bout a week.

Most recent ex Issa Milano Fn2..
Never owned a real wheel drive car so I'm excited and lil nervous at the same time. Got my eye set on a clean, stock standard 135i(n54).
The more I research the more I see reliability issues, but don't think it's enough to deter me...hoping you guys will have ALL the answers

After a few test drives I was sold. Like i said car still is bone stock so i'm sure it'll come alive at a later stage. Really not planning to do to much, just looking at getting a Carbon clean via C teq as it has not had one yet... anyone use CTeq before? seems like they the only ones doing this in Cape Town.. After that I'll mainly focus on cosmetics..

Also have not taken collection yet, was some hickups ( tailight doomed the rwc)
Hopefully bringing the 1er home tomorrow. Will post pics!!

congrats...have a savings fund if you don't have a mechanical warranty because certain things will pop up but then atleast its not a surprise & you're ready to sort them out.

This last two weeks was dark without mine, but looks like the new owner has some serious plans with the Fn.
the cars feel worlds apart tho, I have less than 1hr seat time in the bimmer.

Hey, yup - Already got warranty sorted hoping the :cthulhu: 's are at bay and that they do the most when it comes to claim time.. Had motorite on prev car and didn't claim once (as everything was wear and tear) 22xxx thousand bucks down the drain, bleh.

Gentleman!! it's been just over six months since we've had a chat!
Life treated me a few uppercuts so apologies for the inactivity..turns out i could not get the '1' i wanted, but extremely stoked as I've FINALLY gotten my hands on some Bavarian goodness raise: I've been combing through the forum and tried to look out for the common problems.
