These two cars clearly show the difference in the approach of the two brands.
I think Audi got it wrong here, especially considering the history of the 5 cylinder turbo motor and the fact that the car will be produced in limited quantities.
Audi should have been more Japanese than German, and just let their hair down and gone all crazy. Considering all the hype around the car, you can't help but feel let down from the outset, with the mundane styling to the over german engineering.

wonder why the RS3 has wider front tyres than rear. obviously compensating for a design flaw somewhere?

I would always go for the M but have to say it's a decent write-up from his guy.

There's pros and cons in both cars but personally i want the brute power where i have to drive the car and not the car driving and i'm along for the ride... i want the M!!!! raise:

I personally would go for the 1///M but also would admit that Audi are making awesome cars.:bravo:

The pro's vs. cons says it all:

Pros:

Audi – Nice noise, strong shove, understated looks. And all-weather usability.

BMW – Fabulous noise, rampant grunt, awesome balance, raw adrenaline. Also wild, over the top looks and old-school charm.

Cons:

Audi – Lacks feel, nose-led, always cool calm and collected. In short, short on character.

BMW – Heavy on fuel, can be outright scary at times, stiff ride.

Not sure if "can be outright scary at times" is a con though :idea:
