Will keep you posted with pics and alot of data whilst setting the car up. We are running a 2min 02 consistently and will break into the 1min59's on the 23rd maybe even knock off some more time depending on setup and weather etc.

Are you getting some support from your local or preferred BMW dealership as well? Where you service the car? I really hope so. Because your goals for the car is well planned and the mods on it are of a very high standard.

I get the same appreciation from my local dealership when I pop in occasionally with the car...the workshop guys always want to see what new was done to the car.

Yes Leo Haese Hatfield give me alot of support and the performance parts side as well.

I have planned the developement of the car around what products and upgrades help me to get my track times down but in stages so that i will know where i have gained the most out of the specific upgrades this way i can justify the money spent on the upgrade and if necessary part out and order another similar part and test it in the case that the upgrade did not perform to my liking.

A general public discussion thread is always good but 1M owners will only unnecessarily expose themselves if it is a personal build thread. Something like sharing ideas on what work or could work is safer.

Leo Haese Hatfield service my car and always provide excellent service, Oh and even with the BMW motorplan i feel that there are so many customers out there who "organise" parts for themselves just before car goes out of motorplan that they stuff it up for guys like us that enjoy track days and pay for our own things in or out of motorplan. I attend all the BMW CCG series BMW supported track days and the guys from BMW are always there and they are a great bunch of guys that enjoy seeing car enthusiasts having a great time and putting their products to the test in a controlled enviroment with responsible drivers. Funny how i was the only turbo BMW and 1M amongst the M5 and Geoff Goddards 325is race car that were supporting the hill climb and that is why i made these decals specifically for the event and no other BMW's were there? The car even got a special mention on RPM TV this week!

Thank you to BMW for an awesome little car!
