Price as advertised is R600k, mileage is ~17k km.

So heres how it goes....200K damage can be small but a comment has been recorded for that amount against that car. The car had costed R570k at brand new price. This means that the comment has exceeded 35% of the base price. Generally (afaik), if the damage amount excedes 40% in certain cases, even insurance companies write it off. This is certainly not negligible.

Furthermore, buying such an iconic collector car with a shadow worth R200k hanging around it....err not my thing to say the least :nonono:

Boils down the buyers pocket and sense I guess.....Spend 50k more and get a clean 1M with no issues or buy the AD car, deal with the doubts and play on....

Yeah I agree with you 100%.
I personally wouldn't buy a car with a comment like that.
I was just suggesting he checks the comment out, because it may not be as big of an issue for him.

... for a polo 1.4 a small repair is fine ... but not a car this special ... and R200k is not that little ... i think its a fair amount of damage ... dont think the bumper is R100k

then there is the safety aspect ... sports cars test components stress levels etc ... and it be very risky if something repaired was not repaired 100% correctly at 250kph

its like this hot girl who everyone has had a piece of including the local priest ... you wouldnt mind taking her for a spin ... but you sure as hell dont want to marry her ...

They only sell perfect cars as far as I know.On the floor was a v8 M3, 911 carerra gts, audi rs3, Aston vantage v8, megane RS, a46 amg and a 135i!and they all looked in excellent nick.
I've heard when someone brings them a crappy trade-in he doesn't accept it.they simply turn you away.you can buy from them but without the dodgy trade-in!thats their policy!buy good stock, and sell only good stock
