hi guys i just came across this thread... does anyone know exactly how many of these were made? i noticed differences in the motorsport 2's . some have the bootfin with a light, some have a sticker that says bmw motorsport, some have a rear window brake light, some dont, some have black roof lining, some have cream, door panels are also diff, along with the beading insert.

i drive a 98 model, which was apparently the last of them, i have a padded door panel insert, cream roof lining, no rear window brake light cawz i have it in the bootfin and my door beadings have the ///m insert and not motorsport international. yes it is a motorsport 2.. my cuz has a 97 model and hes got the black roof lining, rear window brake light but none in the bootfin and his beadings say motorsport international. both cars are alpine white3.

I dont know dude but mine has a greying roof lining, also has padding inserts on the door arm rest, brak light in the boot fin and ///Motorsport international on my beadings. Mine is also a 98 model.

Looking at this thread, I assume you got Continental Sport Contact 3's ? If so the rear tyres don't look stretched as I thought it would, either that or dunflops and cheaper tyres make it look like that.

PS your car is super clean :thumbsup: really like the style 32's on Alpine white...

Had Conti's on back then yes, now i'm running Nankangs - but in my opinion they both give the same look. Will be getting the style 32's in the Wide option for the front soon :rollsmile:
